Jarrolds Christmas
For Christmas 2009, East completely redesigned Jarrolds’ department store Christmas gift guide. The retailer wanted the catalogue to reflect its personality and traditional place at the heart of Christmas in Norwich and Norfolk. In response, we introduced more copy, bespoke illustrations, a less rigid approach to page layouts, and several other magazine-style design cues. Jarrolds customers seemed to appreciate the change and the store buyers were delighted with the Christmas sales figures!
This relationship has continued since the redesign, with
East Publishing art directing the annual publication.
