Family Matters is part of the Great British Art Debate, a four-year partnership between Tate Britain, Tyne & Wear Museums & Archives, Norfolk Museums & Archaeology Service and Museums Sheffield. The show will tour all of these venues and East Publishing was lucky enough to design and edit its catalogue and design the exhibition graphics.
The catalogue was produced as a jacket-bound 'family' of booklets (one for each exhibition theme: Inheritance, Childhood, Couples & Kinship, Parenting and Home). A unique 'character' was given to each theme, using type-styles and colour. The exhibiton branding is an amalgamation of each of the styles created in the catalogue – representing the many personilities in a family unit. |
